Solar Home Concept in Nepal

Abstract

The geographical location of Nepal along with the economic situation of average Nepalese, solar homes can be a better alternative to conventional homes in the hilly region of Nepal. Our research was carried out keeping in mind that at the end, the price estimation for building a solar home may be more expensive than initially thought out. Most of our studies was done using internet research as well as some interaction with local authorities. AutoCAD was used to draw the figures and the floor electrical plan of two-storey house.

The thesis contains multiple paradigms and development friendly solutions with custom made graphics and pictures.
