Tiivistelmä
Opinnäytetyöni tarkoituksena on tehdä Rovaniemen Palloseuran vuonna 2006 syntyneiden juniorijoukkueen valmentajalle opas itsenäisen harjoittelun ohjaa-miseen.
The purpose of this thesis is to provide the head coach of the Rovaniemi Foot-ball Club junior team with a handbook for independent training. The handbook is targeted at the head coach of the junior football team and its aim is to help the junior athletes with their independent mobility exercises and recovery. The in-tension of the thesis is to promote mobility training and guide the post-exercise and post-game recovery of the junior athletes in Rovaniemi Football Club. With the help of the handbook it is possible to aid the mobility training in a way that takes into account the sensitivity period of a young athlete, and the long-term benefits rise from the young athlete’s increased understanding of one’s body and how to take care of it independently.
This thesis is a functional thesis and it consists of two parts: A Young Dynamic Footballer Report and the handbook that is based on it. The work is conducted according to the productisation protocol by Jämsä and Manninen, which is wide-ly used in social and health care.
Based on research of applicaple scientific studies it was possible to build a handbook for the head coach of the junior team. A selection of PNF and static stretches are presented in the handbook. Dynamic mobility training has also been proved to have a positive effect on the recovery process and increased mobility. The handbook provides a motivational foreword aimed at the young athletes, information on recovery and mobility training and illustrated stretching instructions.
