Tiivistelmä
Opinnäytetyön aiheena oli kirjoittaa Verkotan Oy:lle tekninen dokumentti, mikä dokumentoi passiivitukiasema-antennin säteilykuviomittausprosessin kokonaisuudessaan vaihe vaiheelta. Opinnäytetyössä tarkastellaan testilaboratorioiden akkreditointiprosessia ja ISO 17025-standardin testilaboratorioille asettamia vaatimuksia, joiden pohjalta laboratorioiden täytyy toimia ja joiden pohjalta akkreditointi suoritetaan. This thesis is written in English and its main purpose is to provide a technical record documenting a laboratory measurement procedure for a Finnish Oulubased wireless testing laboratory, Verkotan Oy. The document describes instructions for conducting a radiation pattern measurement for passive base station antennas. Since such document may be used in accreditation applications, this thesis also discusses the process of accrediting a laboratory, a certain type of test or test method. Testing laboratories are required to perform under specific requirements and rules set in a global standard which is used by accrediting organizations as basis when accrediting laboratories. The standard and some of its contents are therefore also discussed in this thesis. A test procedure manual describing a passive base station antenna pattern measurement was generated and provided to Verkotan Oy.
