The goal of this thesis was to implement a data accuracy testing tool for artificial intelligence service and web data connector linked with Tableau for data visualization. The application was developed for a case company providing services in the procure-to-pay and e-invoicing industry. The technologies chosen for the project was based on the project’s requirements and available resources.
Machine learning is hyper intensive programming. Therefore, data visualization helps to understand what is happening with the given algorithm or process. It is also challenging to measure whether a machine learning model is good without the help of an accuracy testing tool. Accordingly, this paper looked into the implementation process and lessons learned while developing and dealing with big data, specifically, hundreds of thousands of documents.
The result of this project was to successfully build both user interface and back-end server together with the Tableau integration for the data testing and visualization tool. This application will be the official benchmarking tool for the trained artificial intelligence/machine learning models.
