YLEISEN LIIKENTEEN KANSSA TOIMIMINEN TIETYÖMAILLA

Abstract

Tämän opinnäytetyön tavoitteena oli antaa kuva niistä asioista, mitkä tulee ottaa huomioon yleisen liikenteen seassa työskenneltäessä. Työssä käytiin läpi erilaisia vaaroja sekä riskejä, jotka aiheutuvat sekä itse työnteon seuraksena että yleisen liikenteen seurauksena. Työssä myös kerrottiin Väyläviraston ohjeistuksista sekä vaatimuksista liikenteenjärjestelyiden suhteen sekä käytiin läpi erilaisia liikenteenohjauksellisia menetelmiä sekä niiden hyviä että huonoja puolia.

Työssä tarkasteltiin työelämästä sekä Lapin ammattikorkeakoulun luennoilta kerättyjen esimerkkien kautta liikenteenohjausmenetelmien toimivuutta sekä mietittiin eri ratkaisujen käyttöä erilaisissa toimintaympäristöissä.

The purpose of this thesis was to describe what must be taken into consideration when managing traffic at road construction sites. This thesis discussed the different dangers and risks that are caused by the work itself and those caused by the traffic. The purpose was to also discuss the guidelines and requirements set by the Finnish Transport Infrastructure Agency concerning traffic management and the different methods of the traffic management and their advantages and disadvantages.

This thesis evaluated the effectiveness of the traffic management methods using examples gathered from working life and studies at the Lapland University of Applied Sciences and in addition the usage of different methods in different working environments were examined.

The result of this thesis was that the most important further development suggestion is to prohibit the road users from speeding at the road construction sites.
