Tiivistelmä
The purpose of this thesis is to research the relation between the happiness of the employees and the performance of the company. The study is purely based on secondary data and its analysis. Several points of view are being researched: positive, negative and no correlation between the happiness of the employee and the performance of the company. Moreover, other factors that might have an impact of both variables were taken into account. The findings showed that the topic is very complex and there was no direct correlation found between the variable, however, it was inevitable that there is a link between them, as some studies even assumed a possibility of indirect correlation. In addition, it was concluded that further and deeper research is required.
