Tiivistelmä
The main purpose of this final year thesis was to understand thoroughly the story and background behind a social network platform based on trust. Moreover, this thesis introduces a well-known front-end library – React - and its key feature, which plays a crucial part in planning and implementing the frontend of the platform.
The goal set for the project was fulfilled by carrying out research together with the partner company’s project manager, to get a closer look and to understand better the actual meaning behind the platform. As a result, a plan was made, and it was implemented conscientiously for the development process.
In conclusion, the demands of both a project management team and a development team (the front-end in specific) were satisfied, which created building blocks for the development of the project. There is still room for improvement in the future. The information gained from the study will make development and management work possible.
