Tiivistelmä
The old robosoccer strategy application of VAMK is based on the code of Cor-nell’s Big Red Robosoccer team, which is released many years ago. Nowadays, along with the development of the Robosoccer competition, more and more limitations and defects had been revealed from the old application. The most critical matter is the locating problem, which is considered as the root of many other troubles. Since the noise might influence the coordinate of the object, nothing can be done if the precise location of required object could not be re-trieved. The purpose of the thesis and the related project is to implement the missing fea-tures and address some important issues. All the important improvements and algorithms have been described in this thesis. All the codes can be checked from the SVN server of our code-base. The changes made in this project are tested and working quite well in both real world and the simulator (MSBF is tested only in the simulator).
