Food culture has become a big trend during the last few years and people have taken a great interest in ecological food, cooking and food culture not only from their native country but also from the rest of the world. Företagshuset Dynamo Ab arranged for the first time in year 2010 the Foodfestival of Vaasa and my objective of this thesis is to find out how satisfied the visitors of the Foodfestival have been with the service quality and what they think of the project as a whole. The theory consists of marketing, customer segmentation and service quality. I also discuss theory about the SERVQUAL model, which was partly used as a model in the empirical part. The empirical part was done as a quantitative research with questionnaires that were handed out among the visitors of the Foodfestival. The questionnaire consisted of parts of the SERVQUAL model combined with a few own questions regarding segmentation and marketing. The results of the research show that the visitors have in general been very happy with the service quality at the Foodfestival. Some discontent was raised regarding the marketing of the Foodfestival, many have reported that they haven’t gotten enough information on beforehand. A typical customer segment that is found on the Foodfestival is Swedish speaking females over 50 years old.
