Tiivistelmä
The meaning of this thesis was to product a instruction-booklet for a 5 year old rheumatic child-patient. The instruction-booklet is illustrated as a storybook. The knowledge helps to ease child-patient's fear towards imaging-examinations. The instruction-booklet is made by co-operating with Kuopio Reumayhdistys ry.
Thesis was made as developing work, in other words functional thesis, where there is collected in-formation from literature and previous outputs which are related to this subject. The evaluation of this output was made by using materialcoming contentanalysis.
In the product of this thesis, the instruction-booklet, is told the x-ray examination to hands and MRI examination to cervical spine. The instruction-booklet content is drawn up by taking into account of a 5 year old child's level of development.
The first suggested follow-up subject of this thesis is to examine the vision in the future of imaging rheumatic children. For example which imaging-projects are going to increase and why, and which are decreasing and why. The second suggested follow-up subject is the research of the radiation-doses for rheumatic children compared to the given comparison- level.
