Tiivistelmä
During industrialization in the last hundred years, humanity made huge progress in a majority of spheres of life. Consequently, people’s actions have started influencing planet with the factors like climate change, air and water pollution, etc. Further progress cannot be done only in humanity's interests, but also the interest of our planet must be considered. Because of that people need to develop new habits as well as a new way of living.
This Bachelor’s thesis represents the conceptual view of the sustainable ZEB (Zero Energy Building) house as the new way of living and new house image. The goal of the thesis was to show how it can be possible to design and achieve ZEB and Passive house criteria by using the most advanced technologies today.
The result of the thesis showed that designing and construction possibilities of ZEB has increased over the past decade due to the availability of the necessary technologies on the market. Latest researches and technology development provide more solutions in energy efficiency that are superior to the current ones. In conjunction with current regulations and stimulations, this will provoke even greater availability and popularity of such building solutions in the future.
