Tiivistelmä
IT-palveluntarjoaja Centero tuottaa muiden palveluiden ohella Microsoft 365 -ylläpitopalvelua nimeltään Seremoniamestari. Seremoniamestari-palveluun kuuluu Microsoft 365 -pilvipalveluiden käyttöönotto, ylläpito ja pääkäyttäjätuki, mutta sille on kehitteillä uusi korvaava palvelu. Uusi palvelu sisältää samoja ominaisuuksia kuin edeltäjänsä, mutta siinä keskitytään aiempaa enemmän palvelun ja ympäristön jatkuvaan kehittämiseen.
Uusi palvelu perustuu Microsoftin Zero Trust -suojausmalliin, jonka perusteena on käyttäjätietojen, laitteiden, datan, sovellusten, infrastruktuurin sekä verkkojen suojaaminen. Jokainen Zero Trust -suojausmallin osa-alue on uuden palvelun palvelukohteena ja jokaisen palvelukohteen tavoite on olla tietoturvallinen, tuottava, toimiva sekä ajan tasalla.
Opinnäytetyön aikana tehtiin Centeron uudelle asiakkaalle Microsoft 365 -ylläpitopalvelun käyttöönotto jo uuteen ylläpitopalveluun kuvatuilla määrityksillä. Työssä jatkokehitettiin Centeron uuden palvelun sisältöä täydentämällä Centeron sisäisiä ohjeistuksia ja muodostamalla yrityksen sisäinen käyttöönottoprosessi. Käyttöönottoprosessiin on dokumentoitu kaikki käyttöönottoprojektin vaiheet ja se, mitä kussakin vaiheessa on huomioitava. Uuden palvelun tulevat käyttöönottoprojektit seuraavat prosessiin kuvattuja vaiheita ja ohjeistuksia. The Finnish managed services provider Centero offers, among other things, a service called Seremoniamestari for adopting and maintaining customers’ Microsoft 365 environment. The Seremoniamestari service includes migration from previous services and maintenance of Microsoft 365 environment, but it is going to be replaced with a new service Centero is currently developing. The aim of this study was to create an adoption process for new customers of the new service.
This thesis focused on a real-life case of Microsoft 365 managed service adoption with the purpose of creating an internal process for Centero. The process includes all the steps in detail from the adoption phase to continuous support and it will be used as a framework for all future customer projects of the new service.
The new service includes some of the same features as Seremoniamestari but focuses on continuous improvement. It is based on Microsoft's view of Zero Trust security model and its main components: identities, devices, data, applications, infrastructure, and network. They are the targets of the new service, and each component is monitored and maintained with the goal of keeping them secure, productive, functional, and up to date.
