The main aim of this thesis is learning RESTful and IoT and the way to apply them to send data from equipment to IoT ticket by RESTful. An IoT system was created to be able to detect the signal from sensors, implemented on Arduino WeMo D1 Wi-Fi system, and supply power by battery. Two sensors were used in this project, DHT22 sensor and the light sensor. DHT22 includes two sensors to
recognize the humidity and temperature in the house. The light sensor detects the light and darkness in the house. The data can be sent to IoT ticket by an ESP8266 chip, which provides the connectivity of the internet, on Arduino.
The system was designed to make the connection between two sensors, Arduino
and battery then send data through external Wi-Fi ESP8266 chip. RESTful is the standard of communication of the web between systems of computers so that Arduino can communicate easily to IoT ticket by RESTful. Humidity and temperature are detected by humidity and temperature sensor which are inside the DHT22 sensor. Light is detected by allowing the voltage to go through the resistor in the light sensor. Because ESP8266 uses a lot of consumption, the sleep mode is used
to save power.
