Tiivistelmä
The purpose of this study is to identify which employee personality types prefer remote work in the event of an epidemic. The Myers Briggs Type Indicator is used to categorize individuals.
During the pandemic, one of the worldwide concerns is the development of remote work, which has both advantages and disadvantages for employees. Numerous professionals in psychology and MBTI personality types were found and analyzed for the study, utilizing a combination of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies to provide a subjective conclusion for the organization while remaining objective for other researchers in the field. The survey results were gathered through private personal email correspondence with targeted departments at Mercedes-Benz Vietnam Ltd. and then analyzed descriptively using a variety of methods.
Due to a shortage of eligible respondents, the study's findings could not fully validate the substantial association between the personality types of remote employees at Mercedes-Benz Vietnam Ltd. On the other hand, personality differences among employees from different departments have been studied and analyzed. The company may benefit from this research by analyzing the findings and collecting more data for its human resource management.
