Opinnäytetyön lopputuloksena on konsepti: joukko ratkaisuja vuoroasumisen haasteisiin. This thesis seeks solutions for shared residence families´challenges. The basis of the design are the author's own experiences, the real-life situations and needs of a peer group and research and publications on the subject. The thesis focuses on shared residence families´ life where children divide their time and physical presence equally
(usually every other week) between both of their parents´households. With a weekly rotation, children and their belongings constantly travel between two homes. There has been some research on the subject, but there are no products or solutions on the market that have been developed, for example, for the maintenance of belongings, for
communication in a divorced family or for organizing the everyday life.
The result of the thesis is a concept: a set of solutions for shared residence families´ challenges.
