NUUO – Nuorille suunnattu lääkkeiden säilytys- ja kuljetusesine

Abstract

Opinnäytetyönä suunniteltiin nuorille käyttäjille lääkkeiden säilytykseen ja kuljetukseen soveltuva esine. Tietoja nuorten tarpeista ja mielipiteistä esineeseen liittyen haettiin alun mielikuvien avulla sekä pienimuotoisen kohderyhmälle suunnatun sähköpostikyselyn kautta.

Opinnäytetyö tehtiin tutkimustyönä, jossa asioita tutkittiin kohderyhmän näkökulmasta. Työn aikana panostettiin varsinkin esineen muodon, materiaalin, käyttötarkoituksen sekä kiinnityksen huomioon ottamiseen. Opinnäytetyön tekijä kuului myös kohderyhmään ja toi näin oman näkökulmansa työn edetessä esille.

Esineestä valmistettiin prototyyppejä, joiden avulla testattiin esineen käytettävyyttä ja kiinnitettiin huomioita tehtyihin valintoihin, kuten kokoon sekä muotoon. Testikäyttäjinä toimivat kaksi kohderyhmään kuulunutta henkilöä, joista toinen oli opinnäytetyön tekijä itse.

Thesis was to design a object for young people to store and to carry their medicine. Information about their interests and needs were got from first mental images and from small-scale email inquiry that was directed for target group.

Thesis was made as research where things were searched from target group’s point of view. Especially objects shape, material, functions and attachment were invested during the process. Maker of the thesis was also part of the target group and he brought his point of views to the work.

There were two prototypes and two test pieces made during the thesis. Information about objects usability and notes from size and shape were gathered by the test. Two people from target group were used as a test people. Maker of the thesis was another of these two test people.
