ennakoiva kunnossapito on yksi tehokkaimmista keinoista ehkäistä tuotantolaitteiden aiheuttamia yllättäviä vaaratilanteita, kuten laakerivaurioista aiheutuvia syttymiä.
Kehittämistyön toimeksiantajana toimi Quant Finland Oy, joka halusi kehittää kunnossapidon ennakkohuoltotoimenpiteitä Suolahden yksikössä nykyaikaisemmalle tasolle. Työn tarkoituksena oli kehittää pöly- ja purupuhaltimien ennakkohuoltoa ottamalla käyttöön Quant Predict Common Core-kunnonvalvontajärjestelmä
(qPCC).
The development of preventive maintenance improves the technical usability of production machines and has a long-term positive effect on maintenance costs. In modern maintenance, the aim is to prevent unexpected machine failures and production interruptions by utilizing condition monitoring and various periodic inspections and measurements. Currently, in the industrial fields ever increasing attention is paid to safety
and preventive maintenance. Preventive maintenance is one of the most effective ways to prevent unexpected dangerous situations caused by production machines, such as fires caused by bearing damage.
The thesis was carried out as development work commissioned by Quant Finland Oy (Quant). Quant aimed to develop the preventive maintenance measures on a customer site in Suolahti to a more modern level. The purpose of the work was to develop the preventive maintenance of dust transfer blowers by introducing the Quant Predict Common Core-condition monitoring system (qPCC). The theoretical part of the development work was based on the standards used by the industry and contains information on maintenance types, condition monitoring and vibration measurement.
As a result of the development work, the client has access to a functioning qPCC-condition monitoring system thus enabling a working real-time connection to the monitored machines. The first damage in the bearing of the blower was detected before a sudden machine failure. It was started to expand the qPCC-condition monitoring system already during this development work on a customer site in Suolahti.
