The purpose of this thesis work is significant to improving the mental health of nurses and provides supports which may assist them to function efficiently at their workplaces. This thesis makes use of a systematic literature review as a methodology, and it aims to identify and explore interventions that decrease stress and burnout in nurses in a work setting. It may serve as knowledge base for nurses and health management organizations to know about workplace interventions that may be advantageous to nurses. Literatures were systematically searched from numerous databases which include PubMed, Cumulative index to nursing and allied health literature (CINAHL), and Ebscohost. PICO was used to formulate research question. The inclusion and exclusion criteria were used to retrieve literatures that relevant for this study. The inclusion criteria include articles that are published between 1/1/2015 to 31/8/2021, studies must be in English language, only experimental study, and articles contain free fulltext and abstract. Articles that are related to the topic and help to answer the research question. PRISMA (Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta analyses) guidelines were used to report the stages of the study selection process. A total of 5 selected articles were chosen from the three databases and an inductive content analysis will be used to analyse the retrieved data. The findings of this study identified yoga, selfcare and mindfulness as organizational intervention that can decrease stress and burnout in nurses.
