Tiivistelmä
This study aims to analyse the probability on enhancing the changes of employment after a graduate from a higher education has done a study abroad programme and has gained the skillset and the knowledge which nowadays it is needed to develop in the globalized labour market.
Despite the high promotion on student mobility playing a positive role in employers’ perspective in recruitment, the connection between internationalization and developing a higher chance in employability continues to be an understudied area which requires more research. Therefore, this study focuses on employers’ view on the international experience of freshly graduated students, especially on the study abroad experience during academic studies. The study contains quantitative research which has been measured on 82 participants from different cultures and countries who are not necessarily recruiters but do make hiring decisions in their field of work.
Additionally, this study discusses the findings of the outcome, the future outcome, and the challenges that mobility students might face during their experience abroad.
