Tiivistelmä
Valtori works as a service provider of sector-independent ICT services for government organizations and institutions. The services offered by Valtori are used by tens of thousands of people. This thesis objective was to define Valtori’s TORI customers’ needs management process, which describe how Valtori manages customer organization level ICT-needs that are originated by TORI customer or are invented by the Valtori employee.

The implementation of the thesis was in line with the ongoing project work at Valtori, one of the goals of which was the same as the goal of this thesis, i.e. to develop a general need process for the ICT-needs of the client organization. One of the most important limitations in the development of the entire process was considering the existing tool and adapting the process to the tool. The thesis author acts as the project manager of the project in question. Duration of the work project is 12 months, ending at the end of March 2023. This thesis was done between 1.6 and 14.11.22.

Objectives were met as applicable, initial process and needed draft documentation are done. Process development and actual project work will continue still, and various planned tasks are going to be implemented during the rest of the duration of the project work. During thesis work implementation developed need process will be taken in use and verify with pilot customers and need cases that process is working with the tool. Enhancement activities for the process will be planned and after the work project has ended and process organization has taken over the process, its further development is then normal day to day work
