This thesis researches the impact of corporate social responsibility on the financial performance of corporations. The thesis aims to display how different approaches to corporate social responsibility can impact the business results of companies.
The study on corporate social responsibility was completed from the point of view of the outdoor clothing company Patagonia and its recognized standards on corporate social responsibility.
This Thesis was conducted as a desk study. The sources and information for the study were found by using a gualitative approach. The study is shared into two parts the theory part and the research part. Firstly theory part of the study will start, from chapter 2 onwards to the end of chapter 3. The second part of the thesis is the research part. The research part of the study is in chapter 4. At the end of the study, the author will reflect on the process of writing this thesis and evaluate the performance of this thesis.
