Defining well-being at workplace and how it has evolved in the past five years: Case-study: Sports retail companies

Abstract

The aim of the thesis is to define well-being in the workplace and how it has evolved in the past five (5) years from sports retail companies’ perspective. The expectation is that with the help of this thesis, the gap of widely varying definitions of well-being would be closed. To gain a wider understanding of how well-being is defined, the thesis is conducted as a case study. The data is collected from the top three (3) biggest athletic apparel, accessories, and footwear worldwide companies, Nike, Inc., Adidas AG, and PUMA SE, annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) reports.
