Voice Processing Using MATLAB as a Tool

Abstract

The objective of this thesis was to apply phase vocoder, reverberator along with some basic signal filters to a speech signal that is either recorded or stored in the folder. These speech processing algorithms are arranged in the cascading manner so that the user has an option either to choose or ignore the algorithms to bring any effect on the input sound signal. The algorithms of these speech coding techniques were demonstrated and obtained with the aid of MATLAB. For better understanding the output and input of signals can be plotted on separate figures. It also provides the three most common ways of plotting signals which are time domain, frequency domain, and spectrogram.
