Tiivistelmä
This thesis captures process creations for the procurement of a new vendor partner. Phase one consists of three elements: sharing the idea; Budget, resources and schedule; and Request for proposal. To understand the structure of the created process chart the thesis goes through the most common project management structure and maps the process phases linked to each phase.
Phase two concentrates on partner candidate comparison and the thesis listst different aspects to compare together with the conclusion of the actual partner comparison for the company with the initiated project. This phase uses the data from operational and cultural partner interviews that happened during the procurement process.
Contract negotiations are the core of phase three in the process where details on which type of clauses and elements go into statement of work and service level agreements in this industry.
Phase four of the process focuses on two aspects: setting up the selected new partner on IT and security level, and walks through the onboarding process with training the staff and granting access to relevant tools; and the part where the project goes into live production where future reporting needs are also set up.
The final phase of the process is the project closure that maps challenges and improvement opportunities, report on project timeliness, compare actual costs against budgeted and analyse overall project succession.
The conclusion part includes the full process chart that illustrates all the project phases created for the partner procurement process.
