Sivusto sisäkorvaperäistä huimausta sairastavan läheisille

Abstract

Tämän toiminnallisen opinnäytetyön tarkoituksena oli luoda sisäkorvaperäistä huimausta sairastavien läheisille oma nettisivusto. Sivuston tavoitteena on antaa tietoa sisäkorvaperäisestä huimauksesta sekä tutkittua tietoa sisäkorvaperäisen huimauksen vaikutuksista läheisiin. Sivusto laadittiin projektityöskentelyn menetelmin. Projektin toimeksiantajaorganisaationa toimi Huimaus- ja Meniere-liitto ry. Opinnäytetyön teoreettisessa viitekehyksessä käydään ensin läpi sisäkorvan rakennetta, huimausta sekä näiden jälkeen termiä sisäkorvaperäinen huimaus. Seuraavaksi käsitellään termit läheiset ja sivusto. Näistä siirrytään tutustumaan sisäkorvaperäisen huimauksen tutkimiseen sekä sairastumisen vaikutukseen niin sairastuneeseen itseensä sekä tämän läheisiin. Itse sivusto tehtiin Yhdistysavain-pohjaan ja liitettiin Huimaus- ja Meniere-liiton kotisivujen yhteyteen, omaksi alasivustokseen. Projektin tuottama sivusto koettiin hyödylliseksi ja aihetta laajentavaksi kohdeorganisaation osalta. Jatkotutkimusaiheena projektille voi olla läheisille laaditun kyselyn toteuttaminen tutkimuksen näkökulman mukaan sekä siitä saatavien tulosten analysointi kohdeorganisaation hyödyksi. Sivustopohjaa voidaan tulevaisuudessa laajentaa lisää kustannusarviosta ja projektista riippuen. Mahdollisten lisäkyselyiden pohjalta voidaan tuottaa uutta ajankohtaista tietoa sisäkorvaperäiseen huimaukseen liittyen. Jatkossa sivustoa voidaan päivittää kohdeorganisaation toimesta käyttäjien tarpeiden perusteella sitä mukaa kun aiheesta saadaan uutta tietoa.

The purpose of this practice-based bachelor’s thesis was to produce a web site for the significant others of patients dealing with inner ear based vertigo. The aim of the bachelor’s thesis was to improve information on inner ear based vertigo and its effects for significant others. The project was commissioned by Finnish Vertigo and Meniere Federation. The theoretical framework of this bachelor’s thesis first deals with the topic of the anatomy of inner ear and dizziness. Then we get to know the term inner ear based vertigo. The next discussed matter is to get to know terms as significant others and web site. The last topics of theoretical framework are analysing inner ear disorders and its effects on the patient and people nearby them. The main web site was made to a web base known as Yhdistysavain. At the end, it was attached to Finnish Vertigo and Meniere Federation’s official homepage to its own subpage. The web site created in this project was found useful by the client organization, giving new entries for the topic. The web site was made as a project work. Future research could focus on different kinds of surveys for the members of Finnish Vertigo and Meniere Federation and therefore also for their significant others. The main base of the web site can also be made wider according to the budget and the project items. The future surveys can also produce extra information considering inner ear disorders. The web site can be updated on the basis of the needs.
