Tiivistelmä
Opinnäytetyön aiheena on toteuttaa toimiva responsiivinen verkkosivusto WordPressin Elementor-lisäosan avulla. Opinnäytetyön pohjana toimii aikaisempana toimeksiantona WebAulalla toteutettu verkkosivusto asiakasyritys Linnanmäki Trading Oy:lle. Tavoitteena oli luoda asiakasystävälliset sivut, jotka esittelivät yrityksen tuotteita laajasti, sekä jotka mahdollistavat asiakkaille helpon tavan ottaa
yritykseen yhteyttä.
Verkkosivut on toteutettu WordPress-alustalla. Se on avoimen lähdekoodin sisällönhallintajärjestelmä. Opinnäytetyön teoriaosassa käsitellään WordPress-sisällönhallintajärjestelmän toimintaa ja ominaisuuksia sekä Elementor-lisäosaa. Lisäksi tarkastellaan, mitkä ovat
asiakasystävällisten responsiivisten verkkosivujen
ominaisuuksia ja toimintoja. Opinnäytetyön käytännön osuudessa perehdytään Elementor-lisäosan asennukseen sekä monilla erikokoisilla näytöillä toimivien responsiivisten verkkosivujen muokkaamiseen.
Opinnäytetyön tuloksena syntyi selkeät, asiakasystävälliset responsiiviset verkkosivut. Projektin aikana opin huomattavasti lisää WordPressin sekä sen lisäosan Elementorin käytöstä. Samalla laajensin CSS-kielen osaamistani. The aim of this thesis was to create a working, responsive website using WordPress platform and its Elementor add-on. The thesis is based on a project given by WebAula. The project was to make a responsive website for their customer
Linnanmäki Trading Oy. They needed a customer-friendly website, which introduces their products and gives customers an easy way to contact the company.
The project was executed using WordPress platform. It is an opensource content management system. In the theoretical study of the bachelor’s thesis, the aim was
to go through what WordPress and Elementor are and also to consider, what the main characteristics and features of a customer friendly and responsive websites are. In the technical study of the thesis, the focus is on installing the Elementor add-on and creating and customizing the website.
As a result of this thesis, the customer received a clean and customer friendly responsive website. During the project, I learned a lot more about using WordPress and its add-on Elementor. At the same time, I expanded my knowledge of CSS programming language.
