This thesis discusses the prospects and demand for young women in corporate leadership positions in multinational companies. Despite the progress made in gender diversity and inclusion in the workplace, women are still underrepresented in senior management roles, especially in multinational corporations. This paper explores the barriers and challenges young women face when wanting to advance their careers in these organizations.
The thesis also highlights the benefits of having more women in leadership positions, such as increased creativity, innovation, and profitability. Finally, the paper concludes with a discussion of the future prospects for young women in corporate leadership and the importance of creating inclusive workplaces that value diversity and provide equal opportunities for all employees. The attitudes of young female students towards leadership and the leadership role were studied. The interviews attempted to find out how female students feel about leadership and how willing they are to take on a leadership role in the future. According to the interviews, the female students who answered had a positive attitude towards leadership. The respondents felt that gender does not matter in leadership and agreed that female managers are good at their jobs. All of them were of the opinion that they are willing to take on a leadership role and even considered it very likely that they will work in a management role in the future.
