Today’s 5G cellular networks are already all-IP networks, which means TCP/IP protocol stack is used to carry application data for every 5G user. Therefore, studying TCP performance over 5G radio links is an important and interesting topic. TCP uses congestion control to handle link fluctuations, and many different algorithms have been developed for improving the communication performance.
