This thesis is a diary-style report of my work as a software developer for eight weeks at Digious Oy, a company that specializes in the development of medical device software and healthcare digitalization. The customer for the project I worked on was Samplix ApS, a company that devel-ops an instrument for high-resolution analysis of cells and genomes.
In this report, the entries were made on a weekly basis, in the entries I discuss my tasks and work completed. The aim of the thesis is to provide software that meets the customer's needs and requirements within their time frame. This work involves providing a software update for the Xdrop® Sort instrument, enabling processing of samples of a different size.
