This thesis work aimed to develop a cutting-edge e-commerce application with two views; an admin view for managing data anda user view for making e-commerce possible. The application was implemented using Next.js, Tailwind CSS, MongoDB, Amazon S3, Stripe Payment, and Vercel. The application enables managing product information and online shopping. In the application, MongoDB, Amazon S3, secure authentication, stylish design and secure payment processing were integrated and the application was successfully deployed to Vercel.
In conclusion, the application offers merchants a user-friendly interface to sign up, sign in, upload and manage product information as well as review any order histories. Moreover, the application provides a fully functional user-friendly interface which allows customers to review available products’ information, select them and add them to the shopping cart, perform actual payment and receive confirmation of their purchases as well as view their order histories.
