Study on Air Carrier Selection of Yunnan Flowers Based on AHP

Abstract

As one of the key flower producing areas in China, Yunnan produces many beautiful flowers and plants by its favorable geographical and climatic advantages. At present, the share of fresh cut flowers in Yunnan, mainly in Kunming, exceeds 70% in the domestic market. Compared with the huge output of flowers in Yunnan, the operation mode of its industry is still relatively backward. There are many problems in the operation of most Yunnan flower industries. The main transportation mode of flower sales is air transportation. In the process of air transportation, carriers are different in service, collection, transportation timeliness and network coverage, so there is selectivity. As flowers are fragile products with short life, the management of air transportation is very important. Whether enterprises choose suppliers scientifically and reasonably in the supply chain determines the quality of products produced by enterprises, and the cost then becomes the core factor affecting the efficiency of supply chain and the competitiveness of products. Based on AHP, this paper studies the selection of three major flower air carriers in Yunnan from the aspects of quality, price, delivery and other factors. Finally, Kunming Dounan Flower Aviation Co., Ltd. is the best choice.
