Tiivistelmä
This study aimed to investigate the effects of agile methodologies on an organization’s workforce. It utilized a mixed-methods approach to collect data from various sources, including interviews, surveys, and secondary data. The study found that the adoption of agile methodologies had several benefits for an organization's workforce, such as increased collaboration, flexibility, and adaptability. Employees in organizations that adopted agile methodologies reported higher job satisfaction and productivity levels. However, the study also identified several challenges associated with implementing agile methodologies, including resistance to change, difficulty in maintaining focus, and lack of standardization.

The study revealed that organizational culture is a significant factor that influences the successful adoption of agile methodologies. Organizations with a culture that values collaboration and experimentation were found to be more successful in adopting agile methodologies. Best practices for implementing agile methodologies were also identified, including involving employees in the planning process, providing adequate training and support, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. The study further highlighted that the size of the organization and the department in which the agile methodology is being implemented influence its adoption. Smaller organizations were found to be more agile than larger organizations, and departments that were customer-facing were more likely to adopt agile methodologies.

In conclusion, the study indicates that the adoption of agile methodologies can have a positive impact on an organization’s workforce.
