Tiivistelmä
The study conducted a systematic literature review to provide valuable insights regarding the business strategies employed by fashion companies in Finland in the internationalized fashion industry. Seven articles were gathered and relied on the use of five important databases for secondary data gathering namely, Google Scholar, Scopus, EBSCOhost, ProQuest and WARC. The keywords used to search for articles included Business strategy*, Internationalisation*, Finland *, Fashion Companies*. The articles were searched from 2018 to 2023, only in the english langauge in order to present the most recent answers to the research question Thematic analysis was used to analyze the data that was gleaned from the literature review.
The review concluded that fashion businesses that are successful in their interna-tionalization efforts see an increase in export revenue, the creation of jobs, and economic growth. As they expand internationally, fashion companies usually work together and establish connections with local suppliers, merchants, and producers, which benefits the surrounding economy. Furthermore, by exposing firms to other customs, fashions, and consumer habits, internationalization fos-ters innovation and creativity.
The Finnish government and pertinent sectoral groups might create financing and support programs that are especially intended to help fashion enterprises in their internationalization efforts.
