Tiivistelmä
India is the world's second biggest and most popular country. The country is regarded as the fastest growing economy in the world. India's wages are expanding faster than ever before as a result of the country's economic progress. As a result, Indians are traveling overseas more than ever before. And the number of visitors is increasing dramatically each year. The Indian outbound tourism sector offers huge potential for numerous countries to expand their travel company in the future. To join any new market, marketing and promotion are the most crucial aspects of business ethics. A trade show is an important marketing and promotion tool in the travel industry.

The goal of this thesis is to identify the potential for the Indian outbound travel industry to expand into the European and Finnish travel sectors, as well as to investigate the opportunities and difficulties from many perspectives in order to clear the vision. The goal is also to provide some development proposals based on the research findings. The argument is entirely based on research.

This thesis’s theoretical framework described Indian culture, variety and Indian traveler behavior in order to realize the Indian outbound sector from numerous angles. External influences are also extensively detailed in the theory in order to comprehend the market’s potential. The theoretical framework highlighted the travel trade as a marketing tool, some additional development concepts and their critical significance in entering a new market. As an adult token to better comprehend the idea, challenges were presented. The study employs two research methods, interviews with travel industry experts and direct observation of the interviewers.

According to the research findings, Indian traveler’s behavior is changing, and they prefer to visit new places. Their interest is developing in the Finland region for a variety of reasons. All external forces, both direct and indirect, encourage people to visit these places. The results also demonstrated that travel trade exhibitions play an important part in breaking into the industry as they assist in developing new business ties, enhance brand recognition and exposure, and increase database and networking. There are certain problems that do not support Finnish enterprises. But knowing about Indian culture's variety would make it simpler to enter the market.
