This thesis uses X-ray Absorption Spectroscopy (XAS) data as a case example. Currently, there exist several tools for XAS data analysis, such as PyMCA, Athena to name a few software but the need for a more accessible, collaborative, and platform-agnostic solution does not currently exist. Many local software exhibits constraints such as a limited user community, platform compatibility issues, and documentation gaps. The primary focus of this thesis was to create a modular cloud-based data plotting and analysis platform, addressing the traditional challenges faced by researchers, including computational constraints and geographical barriers. This platform empowers researchers to seamlessly upload data, conduct intricate analyses, and visualize results through an intuitive web interface. By embracing the capabilities of cloud computing, this research project seeks to democratize XAS data analysis, enabling researchers to work more efficiently and collaboratively. Furthermore, this thesis explores the broader implications of this cloud-based application within the field of research. Its potential to foster new functionalities and features further positions it as a tool for advancing collaboration and making it easier for different researchers to use exactly the same methods for data treatment to minimize the inconsistencies between datasets. In conclusion, this thesis introduces a cloud-based software solution for X-Y data plotting. This work endeavor signifies a crucial step towards enhancing accessibility and efficiency in materials science research.
