This thesis aims to explore the process of starting a sports coaching business in Finland using the author's inherent skills, knowledge, and experience as a semi-professional Racketlon player on the World Racketlon tour. It will include the background research into what steps are required for starting and establishing a specific sports coaching business as an entrepreneur.
It will expand on how the use of business planning can identify the opportunities for expansion, including customer acquisition and retention, with a focus on the marketing strategy. It will also delve into the concept of brand development to drive successful expansion.
The product is a marketing, branding and customer acquisition plan created for a coaching business, offering racket sports services in 5 disciplines to players of all levels and abilities, across Southern Finland.
The project will be implemented in real life, and it will be discussed as if the aims of the project were achieved and what results were obtained.
