Presently, the world is migrating towards an online first approach and one of the most important things for a developer is how a website is executed. Furthermore, arguably the most important aspects of website development are user experience (UX) and Web design.
The project aims to provide an in-depth analysis of website development, focusing on detailed theory of web design and UX design. This can help developers imporove upon their skills as designers and help them produce better designed websites that also have a good user experience. After providing in-depth details of the theory, three websites are analysed to show the readers visual examples and how theory and practice are linked.
The project is research based and a large number of literature has been studied. After the study of the theory, the best practices and other important aspects of development are explained in the thesis.
Overall, this thesis project serves as a valuable resource for the readers, providing key theory, best practices and how a good collaboration between UX and Web design impact a website and the user.
