The thesis was written at disposal of Finnish non-alcoholic beverages online shop Aalto beverages. It was given an analysis to the mobile marketing concept via review of internet resources together with special literature and a public opinion research regarding the mobile e-commerce usage. For this research methods of both quantitative and qualitative concepts for more comprehensive result were combined, extrapolating the demand on a mobile application for Aalto beverages to be created.
An analysis was conducted both on theory aspects and on practice, by looking at customers Aalto beverages had or might have had in the future, understanding their needs and values. Another important part of the thesis possible competition app might face on the market was analysed through benchmarking.
Future marketing promotion of the application was described in the final section of thesis as well, thus providing the company a handbook on future steps on creation and promotion of a new product, leading to a result where a user experience was designed according to service design concepts.
