The aim of this thesis was to investigate unemployment in Russia, focusing on the transformative potential of digital career guidance, especially among young people. The work analyzed the socio-economic consequences of unemployment and the impact of improved career counseling on these challenges. The research methodology combines quantitative surveys of schoolchildren on perceptions of career guidance with qualitative analysis of individual unemployment experiences, providing a comprehensive look at the impact of current career counseling interventions on the labor market.
The main contribution of the thesis is the development of a digital career counseling model, adapted to the Rus-sian context, aimed at effectively connecting individuals with employment opportunities. The study highlights the need to address the mismatch between workforce skills and labor market demands. The findings suggest strate-gies for reducing unemployment and for supporting economic progress.
The thesis examined the development of psychological tests that provide individualized career development ad-vice and an integrated approach to professional development. The platform developed in the thesis offers job search, long-term career planning, and professional growth, emphasizing the importance of a personalized ap-proach in the context of the Russian labor market.
