The effect of the Central European Free Trade Agreement (CEFTA) on Kosovo's economy was examined in this study. It focused on the benefits and difficulties Kosovo encountered as a member of the CEFTA, with an emphasis on trade, economic expansion, and member growth.
In addition to analysing policy coordination problems and making recommendations for maximizing CEFTA benefits, the objectives involved evaluating post-CEFTA economic shifts. Trade trends, economic expansion, policy coherence, and strategies to maximize Kosovo's benefits from CEFTA membership were among the primary topics examined.
The research was enhanced by the first-hand insights provided by the structured interview with an expert in this field, specifically the General Director of KIESA. Insights into Kosovo's economic situation under the framework of the CEFTA agreement were provided by the research results, which also serve as a basis for further research in this field for policymakers and academics.
