The target organization is ongoing a massive change project, called One Finance transformation. The successful implementation requires engaged personnel with a good level of change readiness.
The thesis objectives were to provide information about the organization’s employees’ change readiness and engagement level during One Finance change project and providing information on management’s training needs or other organizational resource needs that are risen from sur-vey output. The output of the thesis was creating development proposals for the leadership team.
The theoretical framework investigated three main interrelated themes: employee engagement, leader’s role in change and change engagement. The study mirrored the theory and practice of these topics to understand what is the experienced engagement and change readiness level within the target organization and ability to find transformational leadership style practices within the organization.
The selected research approach was case study and data collection methods included a re-search questionnaire conducted at the target organization. The data was analyzed by using quantitative research methods. The thesis study was conducted between November 2023 and April 2024.
The study results show that the engagement level at the target organization is on high level, change readiness is also positive and transformational leadership behaviors can be found from the target organization. The study data revealed also development items, from which the organization can further improve the level of engagement among the personnel.
