Tiivistelmä
The study shows the potential and opportunities of solar energy in Nigeria's public sector. Nigeria's ability to eradicate poverty and advance economically depends on access to energy. Nigeria experiences acute energy shortages due to rising demand for energy. Ironically, the nation is gifted with renewable energy sources. This study examines the potential for solar energy to provide Nigeria with sustainable power. Few public and private sector stakeholders are aware of the advantages solar energy and its technology may provide. Due to this lack of knowledge and awareness, the market is distorted, which raises the perceived risk of potential renewable energy projects. To increase public awareness and spark activity in the energy sector, it is necessary to inform the general public about the availability, advantages, and opportunities of solar energy resources.
