Introduction part dived into background of fast-food in Finland and current trends in the industry. Helsinki has numerous fast-food restaurants and Finnish like to eat it. Healthy consciousness was a trend that kept on growing, making space for the author’s business idea. Introduction also tackled the delimitations and limitations this thesis could face.
The theoretical framework part dived into what is a business plan and the key elements of it. This included marketing, sales, strategic planning models, finances, and resources. A well-structured business plan reflects whether the business can be feasible and has a possibility of success. The research methods part dived into chosen methods and data collecting such as benchmarking, observation, and interviews. Benchmarking and observation included Fafa’s and Subway as the main competitors for the author’s business. Four entrepreneurs participated in an interview which was held via Zoom with one participant at a time using a questionnaire.
The business plan for Bokadijos part has introduced the author’s own business idea in detail utilizing knowledge gained from theory, observations, and interviews. Lastly, the discussion part has collected the thoughts of the thesis project and if it met the objective. The thesis has met most of the objective, as more financial projections should be included in the official business plan, but due to market ever-changing prices, time constraints, complexity, and confidentiality concerns these were excluded. When the time is right for execution of Bokadijos, the author can look upon to this thesis on most parts.
