The main objective of this research is to enhance project management practices in packaging development projects at Valeo Auto-Electric Hungary. The thesis aims to introduce a clear process description and de-tailed guidelines for project management in packaging development projects at the organization that can support the daily operations of the professionals involved in packaging development and improve project outcomes and sustainable practices. Through the investigation of the current state and challenges of project management in packaging development projects at Valeo, this research aims to identify the strengths and weaknesses of the current processes and propose enhancements for optimizing project management practices. The objective is to develop a comprehensive understanding of the existing practices and methodologies in order to drive positive change, foster innovation, and elevate project management practices in the field of packaging development at the organization. To achieve these goals, extensive literature review was conducted, covering fundamental theories, approaches and concepts related to project management. To gather qualitative and quantitative data from the concerned parties, survey-methodology was employed, and a thorough analysis was performed based on the survey results. The findings from this research contribute to the development of a well-defined process for managing packaging development projects at Valeo Auto-Electric Hungary. The practical implications of this research extend to the professionals involved in packaging development, promising tangible benefits in terms of improved project outcomes and sustain-able practices. Additionally, this research provides valuable insights and recommendations for project management practitioners in the field of packaging development.
