The purpose of this master thesis was to find ways for team leaders to work in hybrid work and to figure out what the team leaders should consider while working in hybrid work model. The thesis focused theoretically to three different parts: leadership, team, and hybrid work. Based on the theory the theoretical framework was done. Thesis has no commissioner since the thesis aim is to have results suitable for all team leaders utilizing hybrid work in their daily work.
Based on the theory the survey was conducted where questions were determined based on the findings from the theory and the research questions. The survey was sent to multiple people who worked in different fields as a team leader currently. This ensured that the findings would also be valid for everyone who works in a hybrid work model.
According to the results of the research the biggest issue that the team leaders face is with communication but also with maintaining trust between the team. The biggest themes that came from the analysis were communication, trust, motivation, and management. Based on these four themes the summary and recommendations for the team leaders were done. The result was recommendations and action points for team leaders to use while working in hybrid work model.
