Aino - vuorovaikutusrobotti apuvälineeksi sosiaali- ja hoiva-alalle

Abstract

Opinnäytetyön aiheeksi valikoitui vuorovaikutusrobotti tulevaisuuden tarpeiden näkökulmasta, jonka tarkoitus on toimia pääasiallisesti vanhusten hoidossa, mutta tarpeen vaatiessa myös mahdollisesti muilla palvelualoilla kuten varhaiskasvatuksessa. Opinnäytetyön suunnitteluprojektissa hyödynnettiin aiemmin tämän opinnäytetyön tekijän Aki Hattusen suunnittelemaa prototyyppiä robotista, johon pohjautuva tutkimusmateriaali oli vahva tausta tämän tuotteen suunnittelussa.

Taustatutkimuksissa perehdyttiin myös vastaaviin jo markkinoilla oleviin sekä kehitteillä oleviin tuotteisiin. Konseptituote on myös tarkoitus viedä tuotteen ympärille perustettavan yrityksen tuotantoon joten tavoitteena oli luoda tuote, jota ei vielä juurikaan näy kyseisten toimialojen keskuudessa Suomessa, mutta tulevaisuudessa saattaa olla hyvinkin arkinen näky hoito- ja kasvatusaloilla.

The topic chosen was an interactive robot designed to meet future needs, primarily intended for elderly care but also potentially applicable to other service sectors such as early childhood education. The design project utilized a prototype robot previously designed by Aki Hattunen, the author of this thesis, and the research material based on it provided a strong foundation for the product design. Background research also delved into similar products already on the market as well as those in development. The concept product was intended to be brought into production through a company to be established around it, with the goal of creating a product that was not yet commonly seen in these fields in Finland, but which might become a common sight in the social and health care sectors in the future.
