Tiivistelmä
The goal of the client, Nokia Oyj, was to get a study of the build system of a baseband software
component UP HWAPI and to get a unified description of a complex build system which does not
currently have a documentation that would cover the whole build startup process.
The thesis consists of a general theory part which covers different build automation tools that are
used in this software component with some background information on them.
The main part of this thesis dives deeper into the build system of the software component in question and studies the dependencies, workflow and the order of the building process.
The thesis is finalized with a conclusion of findings and change proposals for the build system.
