The main objective and goal of this study is to know how the Gantt chart can assist project managers to communicate and collaborate in an effective way. Literature highlights that most powerful tools available for this purpose is the Gantt Chart.
This thesis explores the utilization of Gantt charts in project management, emphasizing their role in planning, scheduling, and monitoring project progress. The research method used in the study are literature review in the theoretical section, and case study methodology in the empirical section.
The results show that the Gantt chart can facilitate the visualization of project timelines, task dependencies, and resource allocation in enhancing project co-ordination and communication among different industries. Additionally, the study addresses common challenges and limitations associated with the Gantt chart implementation, such as inaccurate time estimates, resource allocation issues, and lack of flexibility and offers best practices for overcoming these obstacles. The findings underscore the importance of adopting Gantt charts in modern project management to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
