Tiivistelmä
This thesis presents a scalable CMS solution for digital signage in shopping malls, developed as part of an ongoing project. The primary focus is on creating a comprehensive data type file, which establishes a modular framework for mall-specific customizations. This file standardizes data handling across the project, enabling seamless adaptations to new shopping centers while minimizing development overhead.
The document dives into how the new layout will be fetched and the reasons behind those decisions.
Using a data model of a commercial CMS for websites as a basis, the project has been modified to better fit the needs of directory digital screens, to be as customizable as possible since this project is developed continuously.
The scope of this project is modifying such data model according to the project needs, this affects other component blocks in the project used to display the store directory on the digital screens. All these changes were done with the intention of further development of a custom CMS for digital directory screens, these will be covered in the document with some explanations on upcoming development after these changes are deployed.
