This thesis is written in a diary format, documenting the author’s professional growth during full time, on-site internship as an IT Sales Intern at one of the largest multinational IT service and consulting companies, Tata Consultancy Services (TCS). The diary entries are based on the author's daily observations and reflections, as well as weekly progress summaries that highlight key learning experiences and achievements. The author's responsibilities primarily focused on conducting an in-depth study of all types of information that a professional IT Sales consultant should possess. This included analyzing the local market, participation in negotiations, networking with industry professionals, and attending and organizing various IT-related events.
Additionally, the author was tasked with bringing a fresh perspective to the established routines and familiar processes of conducting business, aiming to introduce innovative approaches and insights.

The introductory chapter presents information about the company, as well as the author's skills and experience at the start of the observation period. The Description chapter outline the tasks assigned for the observation period, as well as the author’s skills relevant to these tasks and their execution. Following this, the description of daily and weekly observations begins.

It helps to understand the importance of consistent practice and the numerous benefits it brings to both personal and professional growth. Additionally, it allows for valuable insights into the unexpected situations and challenges that young employees often encounter at the beginning of their careers. By reflecting on these experiences, young professionals can gain insights into navigating and overcoming similar challenges in the future.
